Lilac Cottage is a 200 year old beautifully renovated
Derbyshire detached stone cottage in the heart of the Peak District National
Park between Buxton and Bakewell. Tucked away in a small country village,
there are numerous walks straight from the door and a friendly local
pub serving good home cooked food both lunchtime and evenings.
Awarded four stars from the English Tourist Board, this spacious detached cottage retains many original features including exposed wooden
beams and a working open fire. With its 20 foot master bedroom, state-of-the-art
bathroom, beautiful country kitchen and South facing garden, Lilac Cottage
is the perfect place to get away from it all, yet is centrally located
for exploring all the sites of the Peak District.
