From the South:

Take the A515 from Ashbourne North towards Buxton. Around 3 miles south of Buxton, turn right on to the A5270, signposted Chelmorton. Take the first right and then first left following signs to Chelmorton Village. Lilac Cottage is in the centre of the village.

From the North/West:

Take the A515 towards Ashbourne out of Buxton. Around 3 miles south of Buxton, turn left on to the A5270, sign posted Chelmorton. Take the first right and then first left following signs to Chelmorton Village. Lilac Cottage is in the centre of the village.

From the East:

Take the A6 out of Bakewell towards Buxton. Around 3 miles south of Buxton, turn left on to the A5270. Carry on for about a mile, then turn left following signs to Chelmorton, then take the first left signposted Chelmorton Village. Lilac Cottage is in the centre of the village.

Parking:

Parking is on the road outside the cottage. As this is a quiet village which is not on a through-route (the road ends at the pub!), parking right outside the cottage is rarely a problem.
